The 2026-27 Rotary year opens with Create Lasting Impact
Rotary International president Olayinka H. Babalola's message for the year asks clubs to build results that outlast the project.
The new Rotary year began on 1 July. Rotary International's message for 2026-27, Create Lasting Impact, asks members to think past the ribbon-cutting: to build things that keep working after the club has moved on to the next project.
For a club our size that is mostly a question of maintenance and partnership — who looks after the tank, who restocks the reading room, which school committee owns the result. Our project pages will report on that as the year goes on.
